Chronic Diseases Research Center, including a range of communicable and non-communicable diseases, are among the leading causes of death, disability, and morbidity in both developed and developing countries, including Iran. Additionally, these diseases have shown an upward trend in many of these countries, imposing a heavy financial burden on society and healthcare systems.
The Chronic Diseases Research Center is one of the centers affiliated with the Population Studies Institute at the Research Institute for Endocrinology and Metabolism, which began its activities in 2012.

As a research center in the field of medical sciences, we aim to be at the forefront of achieving the objectives outlined in key national documents, such as the 20-Year Vision Document of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Comprehensive Health System Map, and the Comprehensive Scientific Map of the Country.
